A Time of Healing.
There is a partial solar eclipse today, as the moon passes between the earth and the sun, visible from parts of southern Africa and Antarctica.
This is a wonderfully opportune time for healing and you will find that, whether you deliberately face your issues now and seek a solution, or just let events wash over you regardless, there will be a great deal happening in your life.
With the Sun and Moon conjunct in Virgo, the sign of healing, opposing both Neptune and Chiron, you may find you have extraordinary dreams which lead you to great insights. It is a perfect opportunity for meditation or even daydreams and you will find the answers to many questions that have been plaguing you for a very long time. You may find images, words, colours or patterns floating into your consciousness, which will then resolve themselves into a definite “Aha!” moment, as you suddenly realise what you need to do to resolve a problem, whether it is on the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual plane.
This is a time of great creative energy, when you may find you are expressing yourself in ways you never thought possible.
Uranus is pushing you to consider new ways of thinking and being, even if these adjustments seem awkward or painful at first. Sometimes we just need to break a pattern, if it is not serving us. Right now the door is open and we can move through it to greet a shiny new version of ourselves. Take this chance to heal yourself and others, as you continue on your path to self-realisation.
However, in order to do this, you will need to release old habits of thought and behaviour, karmic patterns that may have been with you through life after life. Wouldn’t it feel great to escape from this negative repetition?
With Saturn in the final degree of Scorpio for a second time, we are getting a second chance to clear away some deeply ingrained karma, with the extra boost of the New Moon and the Eclipse.
As the Sun is partially eclipsed, so do we lose a portion of what we consider to be our selves, but we are much greater than we think and we will certainly survive this change. You may find a person, or a habit, or a job, or something you previously considered vital to your being, will move out of your life at this time. Change is inevitable and resistance merely makes it more painful. Much better to take an opportunity such as this and move with it, towards increased spiritual growth and harmony.
You can view the eclipse live via a free webcast hosted by the Slooh Community Observatory, beginning at 12:30 a.m. EDT (0430 GMT) Sunday . It can be viewed live on Slooh.com along with night sky webcasts. It will run through 5 a.m. EDT (0900 GMT), with the time of maximum eclipse expected at 3 a.m. EDT (0700 GMT).
