YOUR WEEK AHEAD

Monday 26th October – Sunday 1st November 2015

This week, the week leading up to Samhain, there is a Full Moon in the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus. This very earthy sign makes us very aware of the material side of life – our property, our bodies, our money and resources, the food and drink we consume and our creative abilities manifesting in practical form. It is a good time to connect with the earth and all growing things, with animals and all creatures, with our physicality, with all that surrounds us and that our thoughts have manifested for us. Thus we may be finalising business deals, buying new items, improving our homes, visiting a spa, doing a yoga retreat, attending and giving dinner parties and making music and art.

On 31st October it is of course Hallowe’en, or Samhain, one of the four great Fire Festivals of the ancient Celts. At this time, the veil between the worlds is  thin, allowing us to access the spiritual realms with ease. Traditionally, it is a time for scrying, reading the future and contacting those who have passed on, whether this means visiting a medium, or laying flowers on a grave.

ARIES : CARDINAL FIRE ( 21 March – 20 April)

As the week begins, you find it difficult to accomplish your aims, which is frustrating for someone as action-oriented as you. People who want to speak to you, or to meet you, may find they are unable to do so. Around the Full Moon, an important financial transaction takes place. Money you have been expecting comes within your grasp, but you may need it for a specific purpose and it could pass through your hands very rapidly. You are likely to spend Hallowe’en at home, or with your family in domestic surroundings.

TAURUS : FIXED EARTH (21 April – 21 May)

Even although you are feeling very emotional at the time of the Full Moon – or perhaps because of it – this is an excellent time to make up long-standing arguments and to see people who may have been quite distant from you in recent times.  Events may surprise you and this is a great week for a party. Other people are making all the moves at present, but this can be quite relaxing for you, as you await the outcome. You are likely to be on the move at Hallowe’en, maybe socialising with friends and neighbours.

GEMINI: MUTABLE AIR (22 May – 21 June)

As the week begins, you are unable to put your plans into action, which  is rather annoying, especially as these plans affect your social life. By Wednesday you are able to be more gregarious, although your thoughts are rather vague and scattered. Do you actually know what you are doing? You seem very tired, or even unwell. However, the Full Moon brings a change of attitude and a different aspect to your domestic situation as well, although not without considerable upheaval.  Hallowe’en is likely to be celebrated in private this year.

CANCER : CARDINAL WATER (22 June – 23 July)

The Full Moon brings you some important meetings and gatherings. Even although this has been anticipated by you, there is still an element of the unexpected, but there should be a very satisfactory outcome. You are doing a lot of running around here and there, but there is a special purpose to all of your activity. Life does not run very smoothly this week, but at least it is interesting. You love all of the traditional holidays and festivities, so you will be right in your element for Hallowe’en.

LEO : FIXED FIRE (24 July – 23 August)

You begin the week in organizing mode, maybe setting up a social event, but this may be hard to put into action in the end. Mid-week, you are making yourself do something that you would really rather not and it may prove to be  expensive. You don’t have the support you would like, either. However, the Full Moon see you accomplishing quite a big job, despite the difficulties you encounter. You will probably spend the Hallowe’en weekend quietly.

VIRGO : MUTABLE EARTH (24 August – 23 September)

You begin the week by attacking a job you would love to avoid, but you are always conscientious. However, you may find that you cannot follow your plan to the letter, after all. The Full Moon in Taurus sees you taking a trip, but there seems to be some work involved, so it may not be entirely a pleasure trip. Midweek, you use your considerable intelligence and communications skills in a very persuasive manner, in order to get what you want. At Hallowe’en, you are likely to be going out to celebrate.

LIBRA : CARDINAL AIR (24 September – 23 October)

A number of matters get sorted this week, with the assistance of the asteroid Chiron and one of them is your health, which will certainly improve. The Full Moon helps you to sort out your financial situation too, as you find you are better off than you thought. There is some spending to be done,  but at least  some of it is for pleasure. You seem to have more space now, although you are extremely busy reorganizing and recycling. You are likely to be hitting the high spots for Hallowe’en weekend!

SCORPIO : FIXED WATER  (24 October – 22 November)

You are very determined to take charge now, particularly with regard to your environment. Maybe you are knocking your garden into shape, or rearranging your furniture. You may meet with some opposition in your life, from friends or colleagues and the Full Moon will see this come to a head. There are things you must accomplish, although you would much rather be taking it easy. You will be going out for Hallowe’en weekend, maybe even travelling a considerable distance.

SAGITTARIUS : MUTABLE FIRE  (23 November – 21 December)

The Full Moon may bring some tension in your working life and you will be extremely busy. It is not unexpected, however and you do have help and support. Many are completing a specific job now. However, you would certainly prefer to be relaxing and having fun, instead!  You are also attending to your health and there is good news, or a successful treatment for what ails you. You receive an invitation for Hallowe’en weekend – you love dressing up!

CAPRICORN : CARDINAL EARTH (22 December – 20 January)

You begin the week by reluctantly paying a visit to someone, or having a talk you would rather skip. Maybe it is because there is a place you would prefer to be – maybe a concert, or a movie – but that is just not happening. However the Full Moon brings a great social event, probably involving good food and terrific music. At Hallowe’en weekend, other people urge you to join them, so why not go along and let someone else do the organizing?

AQUARIUS : FIXED AIR (21 January – 19 February)

It is hard to hold your tongue this week and you might say something you will later regret. This may be because you are unable to do something you really wanted to do and you think it is someone else’s fault. The pressure is on in the family circle and there could be a bit of an argument. However, certain domestic issues are concluded with the Full Moon, which may be a relief. You may have to work over Hallowe’en weekend – but it could be fun!

PISCES : MUTABLE WATER (20 February – 20 March)

You may be concluding a journey now, at the Full Moon. Other people are organizing things for you and they are delighted to see you. If you are not travelling, then you will instead be improving or enlarging your surroundings, to your delight. Someone gets rather bossy and wants to tell you what to do, so you may have to speak up for yourself. However, you will also receive some very flattering attention. At Hallowe’en weekend, you will be kicking up your heels and having a very good time.
